Cabo

We just came back from Los Cabos, and here is my take:

I have never seen so many beautiful cactus! The terrain is desert and hot.

Best time to go: year round is hot 85 - 115 F, except late July, August and September where it can rain.

In general the tourism and hospitality sectors understand very well what customer service means, they have a friendly demeanor, and are always ready to make your visit amazing.

I leave with a smile in my face because everything worked as planned due in big part of the reliability of the drivers, hoteliers, guides, captains, and bartenders! Margaritas are a must.

Los Cabos is a destination ready to put up a show for you and make you happy.

If you love the hot weather, sun, beach and fun, consider a visit to Los Cabos.

There are many hotels for all budgets and tastes, the golf is great, all with sea views. It is a safe destination.

The best activities out of the hotels are:

⁃ Sunset cruise to the arch

⁃ Plaza Mijares for authentic local art, live music, shopping, ceramics, restaurants, easy walk and near major hotels

⁃ Cabo San Lucas for nightlife including #CaboWabo

I suggest you stay at a nice resort like Montage for great cuisine, swimmable beach, pools, nightly entertainment and luxury treatment.

Tip: try the paletas (ice cream)

One & Only Palmilla for hacienda like hotel with nicely decorated doors, lots of authentic ceramics, local art, walls, and classic ultra-luxury style.

JW Marriott Resort & Spa for fun, activities, spa, great dinning at the Mexican/French restaurant, and more.

Tip: Stay at the Griffin building to have your dedicated butler, Bvlgari toiletries and private pools.

Hilton Los Cabos has a swimmable beach, the food is great, many spa treatment rooms, pools and high hospitality standards.

Activities available which I did not do because it was too hot for us (2 teens and wife)

Nearby:

⁃ La Paz #lettheseainspireyou, 2 hours drive from San Jose with a nice boardwalk and tranquil beach.
